Boy Scout Troop 888 (Silicon Valley, Pacific Skyline Council) would like to invite prospective Boy Scouts to check out our small (17 scouts), Boy-Led troop. We offer opportunities for leadership, service, adventure and fun!

November 12: 3:00-5:00 PM
Archery (cost is $15 per person) at Palomo Archery in Palo Alto. Join us for archery instruction and fun shooting contests. PalomoArchery 4022 Transport, Palo Alto, CA

November 13: 7:30-9:00 PM
Troop Open House at Foothill Baptist Church, 1347 Richardson Ave Los Altos, CA 94024. Meet our scouts, leaders and parents, enjoy our troop activities and join us for snacks.

Why Join Scouting?

Originally founded in Great Britain by Lord Baden-Powell the Boy Scout movement was incorporated in the United States in 1910 and in 1916 Congress granted a charter to the Boy Scouts of America to make the program available through community organizations.
The Boy Scouts of America program is designed - to help develop in youth desirable qualities of character, to teach and promote the skills of Scouting, to train them in the responsibilities of participating citizenship, and to develop in them fitness - based on duty to God and country.
